This will be a Monday Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm shift working 1 weekend a month and rotating holidays. The position will work both in our IV rooms as well as making rounds on the floors, and working in our central pharmacy. Ideal candidates would be someone with IV and Hospital experience. Responsibilities Responsible for the admixtures of medications to IV solutions. Preparation of unit dose syringes, chemotherapy medications, and compounding of solutions/medications used in the critical care and OR satellite areas. Maintaining adequate stock levels in assigned areas. Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Works with pharmacy and technical staff to define and document business rules and best practice. Functions in duties of a Pharmacy Technician as needed.
