About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician serves as a part of the healthcare team at Piedmont Medical Center and collaborates with other team members to provide optimal care. The Pharmacy Technician accepts responsibility and accountability for provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures. Responsibilities
- Assists pharmacists in preparing, labeling and distributing medications
- Maintaining the drug inventory and supplies
- Receiving, sorting, and stocking medications and supplies
- Bills and credits medications to patients
