Requirements

High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is required within 18 months of hire.
One year of related work experience is required; three years is preferred.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs pharmacy-related functions, inpliance with department policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
