Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED.
• 3+ years previous hospital pharmacy technician experience (inclusive of training programs).
• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Certification (CPhT).
• BLS within 90 days of hire or transfer date into role.

Nice To Haves

• Associates/bachelor degree.
• 6 months personnel leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in providing medications for patient care.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to pharmacy technicians.
• Be proficient in sterile products preparation.
• Possess good communication and customer service skills.
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Actively pursue teamwork to accomplish goals.
