About The Position
Food City is seeking a dedicated individual to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the Course Work and Examination for Certification from the PTCB or ICPT Pharmacy Certification Boards. This role involves receiving oral prescriptions from prescribers or their authorized designees, providing efficient and courteous service to customers, and handling questions that do not require a pharmacist's expertise. The candidate will also be responsible for receiving written prescriptions, gathering necessary information for prescription preparation, and entering data into the computer system. Additional duties include stocking over-the-counter products, assisting in preparing insurance claims, and maintaining a clean work area. The position may require operating a cash register and performing other assigned duties as needed.
