The Pharmacy Tech Certified at Sam's Club is responsible for providing Member service, which includes acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. The role involves operating hardware such as cash registers to process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to appropriate procedures. A key aspect of the position is providing Pharmacy products and services to Members in accordance with Company policies, which includes assisting with processing prescription and OTC orders, stocking and securing Pharmacy supplies and merchandise, entering prescription information, filing prescriptions, and completing and maintaining all required paperwork and documentation. Additionally, the Pharmacy Tech receives and stocks merchandise in the Pharmacy area, organizes and maintains the area by following Company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing necessary paperwork and logs. The associate is expected to complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, communicating progress, and adapting to change and feedback. The role also requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, including using the Open Door Policy.
