Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Active Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license
  • Ability to maintain accuracy, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to lift 35–50 lbs.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Operate equipment requiring manual dexterity
  • Be present for scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Completion of a board-certified pharmacy technician program
  • One year of pharmacy technician experience

Responsibilities

  • Fill hospital Pyxis orders with exceptional accuracy using pharmacy software.
  • Repackage, pick, prepare, and secure medications for delivery to partner hospitals.
  • Operate unit-dose packaging and other specialized pharmacy equipment.
  • Restock medications and manage inventory from external vendors.
  • Prepare and load medication totes onto pallets for distribution.
  • Follow all compliance and safety protocols, ensuring secure medication handling at every step.
  • Perform inventory checks, including expiration management and returns processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and hospital partners with professionalism and strong communication.
