Additionally, Peninsula offers care specifically designed for seniors with co-existing psychiatric and medical conditions at the Senior Behavioral Center located at Parkwest Medical Center . Pharmacy: The outpatient pharmacy is located at 1451 Dowell Springs Blvd in Knoxville, Tennessee and open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. We also have an inpatient pharmacy located at Peninsula Hospital in Louisville, Tennessee. Patients may fill all prescriptions at the outpatient location, not just psychiatric medications. Our pharmacy team is fast, confidential and strives to give patients the most cost-effective option. We offer services such as bubble packing, employee immunizations, non-profit prescription pricing and prior authorization management. The Pharmacy at Peninsula Lighthouse is a great location for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians who want to further their knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatments in a supportive, team-focused environment. Our staff works together to problem solve and provide excellent customer service that will meet all patients’ needs. Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the pharmacist, performs functions pertaining to the dispensing of medications. Technical functions are expected to include IV process proficiency, problem solving skills and quality improvement involvement.
