About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician 2, having mastered all Pharmacy Technician 1 job
requirements, works under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists
with the filling and dispensing of medical prescriptions and may be expected to
perform some clerical duties relating to the department. The position is
expected to receive and store incoming supplies, verify stock and enter data
into the computer to maintain inventory records, and is expected to meet state
certifications. The position requires familiarity with standard concepts,
practices, and procedures within Pharmacy and relies on limited experience and
judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
