About The Position

The Pharmacy Systems Support Specialist Senior helps facilitate and support the design, development, implementation and maintenance of clinical and pharmaceutical terminologies, vocabularies and support infrastructure at an advanced level. This individual will carry-out the duties required to manage and maintain the content and user access, as appropriate, within the applications used to support patient-care delivery.

Requirements

• Post High school courses in computer programming or software applications.
• Seven years' experience in pharmacy, medical, or managed care related positions.
• Significant experience with common computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Experience in problem solving and customer service.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin pharmacy law and third-party reimbursement rules.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in business administration, computer sciences or healthcare related field.
• Three years' experience in pharmacy claims processing.
• Experience in technical writing and project management.
• Advanced Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT - Adv).
