The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). JOB SUMMARY: Ensures safe, timely, compliant, efficient, and productive workflows, and coordinating all day-to-day activities of an assigned area. May be responsible for the direct supervision of any combination of pharmacy technologists, pharmacy learners, pharmacists, or support staff who work within their scope of responsibility. Uses advanced communication and project management skills to lead quality and efficiency improvement efforts. Project management, oversight, and involvement will range from independent work on small projects, to leading teams on large scale changes. Ensures improvement efforts align with priorities and timelines of the organization. Collaborates with the pharmacy leadership team under the direction of the director.
