Requirements

Certification - Registration within 30 days of hire- South Dakota Board of Pharmacy

Nice To Haves

Experience - 1+ years of Pharmaceutical Experience
Education - Bachelors degree in Pharmacy

Responsibilities

Assists pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications.
Completes billing within the appropriate time frame assuring accurate charges with correct date of service.
Labels and packages medications appropriately.
Prepares medications in a timely manner to expedite delivery to the patient.
Operates automated technology (Pyxis, carousel, compounders, etc.) in accordance with department standards and expectations.
Performs aseptic compounding of parenteral admixtures and other sterile dosage forms with the appropriate aseptic technique.
All other duties as assigned.
