The role you'll contribute: Responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures utilizing radionuclides for diagnosing and treating diseases in humans. This position delivers quality care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric and ensures service levels are maintained. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician/Student performs all accountabilities associated with the compounding, dispensing, charging, and delivery of medications to the patients. As the student progresses through their PharmD program, they may have the potential to do patient counseling in addition to their technician responsibilities. The value you'll bring to the team: Performs functions requested by pharmacists or pharmacy leadership in a timely manner. Maintains a high level of accuracy and accountability in all controlled substance transactions. Answers the phone promptly and courteously, using experience and prioritization skills to forward calls appropriately. Restocks boxes, kits, trays, and code cart trays.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Pharmacy degree program
  • High School Grad or Equiv Required
  • gistered Pharmacy Technician (RPT-LIC) Required or Pharmacy Intern (PHARMINT) Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPHT) Required Or Pharmacy Intern (PHARMINT) Required
  • High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
  • Pharmacy Intern (PSI) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
  • State Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Responsibilities
