Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of Pharmacy Certified Technician experience within the Kroger enterprise.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Completion of company-approved Technician Product Verification program.
  • Completion of company-approved Point of Care training program.
  • Completion of company-approved practical immunization training program.
  • Active enrollment in American Heart Association Basic Life Support course.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to organize, prioritize, plan and meet deadlines.
  • Proven attention to detail and stellar customer service skills.
  • Completion of national and/or state registration, certification or licensure depending upon state requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Understand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.
  • Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license.
  • Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
  • Support workflow and pharmacist oversight through shift leadership.

  • Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require professional judgement.
  • Provide day-to-day training support for pharmacy associates.
  • Ensure execution of department standards by leading by example.
  • Comply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations.
