Requirements

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy Degree
  • PGY1 residency training OR 3 years of applicable experience
  • Certification as a licensed Registered Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligibility for licensure. Must have a license before the start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency
  • Five (5) years of experience working as a pharmacist in a comprehensive stroke center or adult ICU

Responsibilities

  • Oversees patient care functions, including maintaining accurate records and refining medication therapies to improve treatment results.
  • Handles task prioritization adjusts to shifts in practice and addresses day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Provides training and instruction to staff members and pharmacy students.
  • Participates in initiatives for process enhancement, policy revisions, or research activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
