About The Position

The Pharmacy Services Manager will report to United Urology Group’s Director of Pharmacy Services. An ideal candidate will be ready to roll up their sleeves, partner with physician executives and all of our practice members to implement and improve pharmacy services. The Manager of Pharmacy Services will provide expertise and support United Urology Group practices clinically by acting as a clinical resource. This will require critical collaboration across the entire network through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Registered nurse with associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Minimum 2-year oncology experience required
  • Experience with Flatiron Health OncoEMR software
  • Current unrestricted nursing hours
  • Flexible hours to support projects assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of cancer and urology medications, dosing, and proper admixture with ability to access resources as required
  • Knowledge of clinic procedures and operations
  • Strong people skills for pharmacy staff and practice interactions
  • Ability to use computers and software applications (MS Office products)

  • Excellent project management skills with an emphasis on detail and follow-through

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Vice President of Pharmacy Services and Director of Pharmacy Services at corporate and practice level incoming clinical information requests
  • Acts as a liaison and resource to provide support for regimen build support at UUG practices
  • Demonstrates regimen build and clinical trial protocol evaluation expertise through accurate and complete research regimen builds with incorporation of necessary UUG Research and Individual Practice components
  • Assists the Director of Pharmacy with the Shared Pharmacy Services program, including but not limited to education for practices on the shared services model and performing drug switches within individual practice’s instance of OncoEMR and Veradigm
  • Participates in developing communication for all clinical upgrades and/or changes within OncoEMR and Veradigm for UUG practices
  • Participates in the management of clinical projects directly related to drug regimen maintenance, as well as assisting in prioritizing and determining timelines for implementation of projects
  • Triage and address, along with Director of Pharmacy, any practice clinical concerns/complaints surrounding NCCN and FH regimens
