Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with 3+ years experience hospital pharmacy sales experience or 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Generic Pharma sales highly desired.
  • Clinical/RN background a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales processes.
  • Candidate must live within the territory.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving or exceeding sales quotas through the direct promotion and sale of our pharmacy portfolio which includes generic injectables, ready to use injectable premixes and oncology products.
  • Calling on hospital customers with a primary focus on the pharmacy department through effective sales presentations, providing technical product information, managing customer contracts and prices and support of new product launches.
  • Monitoring sales against forecasts, implementing sales strategies to attain assigned sales volume and participating in the determination of market potential for the territory.
  • Providing customer feedback to sales and marketing personnel for the potential development of marketing strategy, product needs and pricing.
  • Working closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities.
