About The Position
Pharmacists completing a pharmacy residency at CoxHealth will become leaders with a commitment to the pharmacy profession. As members of a multidisciplinary health care team working to achieve CoxHealth's mission statement, residents learn accountability for utilizing evidence based medicine, conducting medication reviews, and managing disease states. In addition, they will provide health-care education to providers, patients, and community members. Residents gain project management skills through team leading and committee participation. Additionally, residents must complete a formal resident project designed to implement or improve a medication-related program.
