The primary duties consist of receiving and storing of pharmaceutical and supply orders, assuring compliance with storage requirements and appropriate rotation of stock. Possible exposure to chemical and cytotoxic agents. Filling pharmacy replenishment orders for Hospital Units, Clinic Orders, and EMS. Checking and removal of outdated medications and supplies. This role does involve repeated bending, pushing of heavy carts and lifting boxes of fluids. Participates in creating a safety culture by optimizing safety at all times. Willing to cross train in other areas of the department. Complies with department and organization safety and infection control measures. Able to work long and flexible hours and ensures critical services are provided during inclement weather and disasters.
