The Cedars-Sinai Cancer Enterprise is at the forefront of cancer care, consisting of two cancer centers and three affiliate sites. Our Oncology Pharmacists collaborate with a team of expert cancer doctors, researchers, and nurses to advance leading-edge research and treatment innovations for cancer patients. As a Pharmacy Oncology Clinical Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ca, you will assist in supporting the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center value-based initiatives for the enterprise through oversight over Oncology P&T and 13 Oncology DRG guideline development committees responsible for development of evidenced based guidelines. You will collaborate with the Clinical Efficiency Value team in developing innovative approaches in managing our oncology patients effectively. Be our designated Oncology PGY2 Residency Program Director (RPD). The RPD of the PGY2 training program to ensure the program is following and meeting accreditation standards.

  • Assist in supporting Cedars-Sinai Medical Center value-based initiatives for the enterprise.
  • Oversee Oncology P&T and 13 Oncology DRG guideline development committees.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Efficiency Value team in developing innovative approaches for managing oncology patients.
  • Serve as the designated Oncology PGY2 Residency Program Director (RPD).
  • Ensure the PGY2 training program meets accreditation standards.
  • Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
  • BLS certification as outlined in the Pharmacist Responsibilities in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.).
  • Relevant pharmacist experience.
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 oncology residency and minimum of three years of additional practice experience in oncology; or a minimum of five years of experience in oncology practice if the candidate has not completed an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in oncology.
  • Board Certification in Oncology, preferred or intent to obtain board certification within 1 calendar year.
  • Ability to work from home 50%.
  • Competitive salary range of $77.28 - $123.65 per hour.
