About The Position

As a Pharmacy Operations Representative, you will deliver straightforward administrative and other basic business services in Pharmacy Operations. This role involves routine tasks that require a good knowledge and understanding of the business and operating processes and procedures. You will be responsible for stocking shelves, ordering supplies, operating a forklift, and ensuring that orders are shipped out efficiently at the end of the night. The position requires walking and handling boxes weighing up to 30-40 lbs.

Requirements

• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel & Access.
• Intermediate office equipment skills.
• Ability to understand mathematical conversions.
• Working knowledge of inventory control practices.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly resolve problems and develop favorable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper package sorting to assigned carrier/pallet.
• Ensure sufficient stock of supplies.
• Order supplies from multiple vendors.
• Ensure each package receives the correct paperwork, envelopes, medications, packing, and shipping labels before sealing and sending packages to patients.
• Work on only one order at a time at the workstation.
• Ensure the address prints correctly on each package.
• Seal all bags correctly and load printers with the correct paper.
• Accurately package prescriptions that require special handling according to specific process and policy requirements.
• Collaborate with coworkers to share best practices while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Keep the workstation clean at all times.
