About The Position
The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Director of Pharmacy in managing the pharmacy operations and will be responsible for directly managing all staff pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The Pharmacy Operations Manager will implement and enforce policies and procedures, supervise, onboard and train staff, and ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance. He/she will coordinate and direct the day-to-day services, functions, and activities of the pharmacy department in accordance with established policies, national standards and state and federal laws. He/she will have advanced knowledge, experience, and responsibilities in the areas of inpatient pharmacy operations, staff management, pharmacy related technology and ensuring medication safety across the continuum of care. He/she will work across the pharmacy service lines to best optimize pharmacy operations.
