Organization: Pharmacy Inpt Ops Director Job Summary: Leads the pharmacy team in the coordination, monitoring, and supervision of pharmacy services. This includes human resources, medication systems, and pharmaceutical care to ensure the provision of quality patient focused care that meets all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Plans and develops customer focused pharmacy systems and services for specific area to meet the changing needs of the medical enterprise. Works with administrative team and staff to constantly innovate the method for delivery of quality cost effective pharmacy services. Manages and develops staff members to ensure competency and growth of staff. Manages budget including volumes, drug and personnel expense for a specific area. . The Evening and Night Shift Pharmacy Operations Manager at Vanderbilt University Hospital is responsible for oversight of evening and night shift pharmacy operations in Central Pharmacy, Sterile Products, and the OR and works collaboratively with the pharmacy operations managers of those defined areas to ensure continuity of service in our 24-hour operations.
