About The Position

This position will have an important role on the Trade & Distribution(T&D) team partnering with the Biogen and alliance field functions and leadership and the Specialty Pharmacies (SP) in the neuropsychiatry pharmacy network to ensure a fast and efficient Rx to dose journey. This person will be responsible for resolving escalations and communicating updates from the SPs to HCPs and cross functional Biogen and alliance field teams and leadership. Developing key relationships both internal and external, the ability to effectively interpret data to identify trends, make decisions and influencing without authority across multiple groups and levels within the organization independently will be the key to success in this role. This hybrid position can be based in Cambridge, MA or RTP.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3 years' experience with Pharmacy operations, processes, support programs and data reporting
  • Ability to effectively interpret data, analyze trends and present concise messaging to leadership across the alliance
  • Extensive experience with data query/analysis in Excel
  • Customer focused with the ability to identify delays in the Rx to dose journey and work towards resolution with little to no oversight
  • Experience and willingness to conduct customer facing conversations and the ability to deescalate with little to no oversight
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work well independently and in a dynamic team environment including cross-functional and multi-location teams

Responsibilities

  • Understand the specifics associated with pharmacy/specialty pharmacy(SP) process and programs (prior authorization process, denial and appeals, copay assistance, etc.)
  • Leverage data from multiple sources to identify and solve complex access issues with the SPs, provider offices and field teams to connect the dots towards resolution
  • Serve as the point of contact for HCP and field inquiries that cannot be solved by the daily detailed status reports from the SPs
  • Be at the ready to step in to assist with moving specific cases through the roadblocks that may arise including conducting calls with providers, providers' staff and internal and external leadership teams
  • Provide operational support to T&D SP Account Managers on a daily basis
  • Review, validate and approve SP invoices based on contracted KPIs
