  • Lead and direct Pharmacy Staff, including staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.
  • Accountable for the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy.
  • Ensure Patient Safety and Pharmacy Professional Practice.
  • Adhere to Regulatory Requirements and Quality Assurance.
  • Provide excellent Customer Service.
  • Manage Personnel and Inventory.
  • Ensure Financial Profitability and Loss Prevention.
  • Oversee Workflow Management.
  • Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs.
  • Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues.
  • Motivate, inspire and develop Pharmacy Support Staff.
  • Identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth.
  • Implement solutions by leading the team to achieve specified goals.
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
  • Collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes.
  • Facilitate a ‘team’ culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm and pride.
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
  • Listed on the pharmacy state license as the ‘pharmacist in charge’.
  • Submission of required information/documents to state PMP administrator for PMP access.
