Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and other programs developed by Walmart.
  • Drives sales and profit in the Pharmacy and OTC areas by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels.
  • Models and enforces customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs and complaints are resolved.
  • Oversees community outreach programs and encourages associates to engage with the community.
  • Ensures compliance with company and legal policies, analyzing reports and implementing action plans.
  • Supervises and develops associates by selecting, training, mentoring, and providing performance feedback.
  • Manages pharmacy operations and conducts associate meetings to address needs and share information.
  • Monitors inventory flow and ensures proper execution of inventory processes.
  • Demonstrates sound financial management skills, managing budgets and ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Creates a culture of patient care safety and accuracy, ensuring accountability for quality of care.
  • Implements compliance initiatives and monitors execution by associates.
