About The Position

The Central Pharmacy Manager at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is responsible for overseeing day shift operations within the Central Pharmacy. This role involves leading the pharmacy team to ensure the delivery of quality patient-focused care while adhering to all regulatory requirements. The manager will work collaboratively to enhance pharmacy services, manage departmental resources, and develop staff competencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field (Required)
• Tennessee Pharmacist License (LIC-Pharmacist License - Tennessee)
• 2 years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, monitors and manages pharmacy operations while maintaining all safety and compliance regulations.
• Effectively coordinates departmental resources and actively participates in stewardship and cost control initiatives.
• Effectively manages human resources and creates an environment that enhances morale and facilitates teamwork.
• Manages Pharmacy systems and operations to enhance quality, safety and efficiency.
• Ensures the delivery of outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
