About The Position

Responsible for inventory analysis including but not limited to inventory counts, tracking of medication expiration, adjustments of PAR levels based on utilization assessments, assignment of item storage location in compliance with policies, management of inventory movement/transfers, knowledge and compliance with 340B policies/procedures, and on-site management and communication of back-orders. Assures new formulary items are assigned to appropriate systems/storage locations and available for use; assists with removal of items removed from formulary. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. The specific statements in this profile are not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)
  • Minimum of 2 years-Pharmacy (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for inventory disposal including but not limited to onsite management of reverse distributor and management of returns and recalls
  • Responsible for ordering of supplies and medications including but not limited to management of routine medication and supply order process, consignment ordering and tracking, vaccine ordering and tracking and monitoring to assure ordered products are received
  • Accountable for medication and supply receiving and delivery of received items as applicable.
  • Assures all medications have a bar code and that the bar code scans in all systems.
  • Assures all documentation is completed timely and accurately.
  • Responsible for inventory reporting including receiving in designated system, management of order receiving discrepancies and completion of requested inventory reports.
  • Participates in annual inventory process.
  • Attend meetings and assure timely communication with pharmacy staff and other customers.
  • Assures excellent customer service.
  • Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
