About The Position
This internship will be responsible for assisting in formulary management and the post-Pharmacy and Therapeutics implementation process. This is a casual position with the expectation of approximately 6-8 hours per week.
Requirements
- Second-year pharmacy student with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to review, summarize, and organize medication-related information
- Experience or interest in data review and basic analytics
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional healthcare environment
- Enrolled as a Student at an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
- Finished First Year of Pharmacy School
- Excellent customer service skills, proficient in English language, capable of solving problems effectively, ability to follow policies and procedures, and competent mathematical skills
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy experience in infusion therapies, retail and/or hospital setting
- Minnesota Pharmacy Intern License
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and ongoing updates of medication information within the internal drug information website and application
- Develop and update medication formulary monographs
- Assist in addressing drug information questions
