GENERAL SUMMARY: Schedule: Contingent Rotating Shifts Perform the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. About Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital: Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital delivers specialty and 24/7 emergency care at a Level II Adult Trauma Center. Our hospital is a destination for specialty care including heart, cancer, and stroke care. Our OB-GYNs/maternity care teams deliver a personalized birthing experience and advanced neonatal care for sick babies. We offer a range of minimally invasive procedures using robotic-assisted technology, imaging, and a inpatient rehabilitation center, all on one campus.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Candidate in P1 or P2 year preferred.
- -OR- Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.
- Registered Pharmacy Intern

Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, maintain proper narcotic documentation and ensure proper distribution of narcotic medications.
- Under direct supervision, ensure appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication.
- Dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas. May compound medications.
- Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles. Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients.
