About The Position

BJC HealthCare and Saint Luke’s Health System are seeking a Pharmacy Intern to join our team in Kansas City, MO. Shift: Part-time, Evenings Job Summary Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Intern performs essential duties related to compounding, dispensing, and delivering medications. This role is designed to provide hands-on clinical experience in preparation for future licensure as a Pharmacist, ensuring all activities comply with State Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Pharmacy Intern license.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy or a Pharmacy Early Assurance program.
• Applicants with a Pharmacy Technician license who are eligible for an intern license will also be considered.
• Less than 1 year Pharmacy Intern (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Assist in the accurate compounding and dispensing of patient medications.
• Manage medication charging and delivery processes.
• Perform pharmacy tasks under continuous pharmacist validation to ensure patient safety.
• Gain practical pharmaceutical experience while adhering to state and federal legal requirements.
