Organization: MCE Pharmacist Coordinator-4 Job Summary: Performs tasks within the pharmacy in direct support of the ongoing duties and responsibilities of a pharmacist with occasional guidance. Tasks performed contribute directly to the preparation and/or dispensing of a final dosage form for administration to a patient and are directly supervised by a pharmacist. Provides customer service by answering phone requests and triaging calls to the appropriate person if they cannot answer the requested information. Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control. . Position Highlights Must be actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy in order to be considered. P1 or P2 will be considered. Fast paced, patient facing role involving patient counseling and education, face-to-face meds-to-beds delivery, and collaboration with a large pharmacy team. Every 3rd weekend both Saturday and Sunday. 10-hour shifts. (1) 4-hour shift a week between Monday - Friday.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy in order to be considered.
• P1 or P2 will be considered.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Managers in accordance with federal, state and local laws/regulations and hospital policies.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.
