The Pharmacy Intern will have the opportunity to work alongside our Pharmacists providing valuable experience with flexible scheduling to complement their classroom studies.

Requirements

NYS Pharmacy Intern Permit required
Current enrollment in or graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy
Hospital experience preferred
Available to work at least two shifts per week, one weeknight evening and one of the weekends (7.5-hour shift).

Responsibilities

Assisting the Pharmacist with all secondary functions within the Pharmacy department, including filling cassettes, bulk preparation of I.V. additives using sterile technique
Processing incoming narcotics orders under the auspices of a Pharmacist and/or Supervisor
