Summary Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently processes and fills medication orders Accurately and efficiently prepares medications Delivers medications from pharmacy to nursing units; returns items from nursing units as needed Wholesale order processed and received correctly Demonstrates leadership skills and critical thinking Provides general assistance to pharmacist staff Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required: · High School diploma or equivalent · National Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board · Required Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration certificate for Pharmacy Technician · Registration as a Pharmacy Intern by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy satisfies PTCB certification and Technician registration requirements. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
