About The Position

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead and support our outpatient infusion services growth and transformation. This role focuses on compliance (USP 797/800, BOP, etc.), operational excellence, and leadership across multiple infusion locations. With an AWS/hybrid work model and periodic onsite visits, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of infusion care and improve patient outcomes. Requirements

  • Doctorate - Pharmacy
  • 2-5 years
  • 2-5 years Supervisor Experience
  • RPh

  • Plans and manages the overall clinical, educational, drug use policy and research activities of the department.
  • Provides overall direction to the pharmacy general practice and specialty residency program

Responsibilities

  • Directs operations and integrates services within the work unit and with other departments.
  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Plans and manages programs and services to improve the safety of the medication management system.
  • Establishes and coordinates pharmacy policies and procedures in assigned practice areas.
  • Ensures departmental compliance with accreditation and regulatory agency requirements.
