About The Position

The position involves assisting pharmacists in filling and dispensing prescriptions for customers. The role includes customer service at the counter, retrieving prescriptions, and processing transactions. Additionally, the position requires ordering and stocking drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise. The employee will also update patient records and inventory, process invoices, and make accounting entries using a computerized system. Furthermore, the role includes providing immunizations at the direction of a pharmacist in accordance with state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Provide customer service at the counter

• Ring up customers and process transactions
• Order and stock drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise
• Update patient records and inventory
• Process invoices and make accounting entries using a computerized system
• Provide immunizations as directed by a pharmacist
