About The Position

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Extern, PRN to join our team. The Pharmacy Extern position provides practical work experience for clinical students in an environment that emphasizes patient-centered care, provides a mechanism for exposing clinical interns to innovative/emerging concepts in healthcare practice, provides mentoring opportunities for staff to facilitate development of teaching and preceptor skills and provides a challenging/stimulating work environment for staff. Requirements

  • Current acceptance or enrollment in an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program is required.
  • A Graduate from within the previous 1 year of an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program or a Graduate from an accredited foreign Doctor of Pharmacy program requiring hours for licensure could also be considered eligible.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Registration or licensure as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy intern if required by state law.
