Pharmacy Equipment Operator- 2nd Shift

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1 year
- Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
Responsibilities
- Assists with routine technical support tasks for the RX Equipment area under general supervision.
- Communicates deviations from expected outcomes to internal teams.
- Collects feedback from the warehouse department to ensure the technical support function is responsive to business needs.
- Documents the receipt of control drugs and cooler drugs and verifies the number of cartons and pallets in each delivery.
- Assists pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with equipment operations; coordinates pharmacy deliveries and orders to ensure timely service.
- Inspects the final RX product for appropriateness and uniformity and verifies product labels for accuracy to ensure ready for delivery.
- Maintains specialized pharmacy equipment, such as automated dispensing devices and unit dosing machines.
- Collects information on RX trends and analyzes RX order frequency in order to anticipate consumer demand.
- Monitors pharmacy equipment and fill dispensing units and calibrates to ensure maximum functionality.
- Operates automated RX equipment to assist pharmacists with compounding, repackaging, and cart filling.
