Organization: Outpt Oncology Pharmacy Job Summary: Member of the pharmacy leadership team with oversight of a departmental area or multiple departmental areas. Leader with operational, clinical, and business responsibilities. Works with executive team in the execution of business and clinical strategy for the department. Helps design and lead professional development for all members of the department. . Vanderbilt Health is hiring a Pharmacy Director to lead oncology operations!

Requirements

  • LIC-Pharmacist License - Tennessee
  • 4 years Relevant Work Experience
  • Bachelor's (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with executive leaders in the development of strategic goals and objectives.
  • Leads operational execution of goals and objectives.
  • Works with front line leaders to meet operational needs and modify work processes for enhanced care delivery.
  • Provides guidance as departmental decisions are made to better assess impact to the department.
  • Active participant in all conversations regarding program development, process improvement, and cross team projects.
  • Plans, coordinates, and controls work within the department.
  • Aides in the development of departmental budgets and helps ensure financial targets are met.
  • Helps drive high quality care delivery across all teams and functions related to medication therapy.
  • Works across teams and departments to meet the needs of patients and fellow healthcare professionals.
  • Assesses performance across the team and drives professional development within teams.
