About The Position

The Pharmacy Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of medications and supplies to customers, ensuring compliance with medication storage requirements and pharmacy policies. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• At least 1 year of delivery driver experience is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Access to a vehicle and proof of valid insurance is necessary.
• Ability to effectively read and interpret maps.
• Punctuality and excellent time management skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with delivery software is preferred.
• Organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and co-workers professionally and appropriately.
• Ensure that the delivery vehicle is maintained properly, including brakes, controls, tire pressure, and fuel.
• Drive safely and obey traffic laws during deliveries.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to differing weather conditions.
• Load and unload goods as required for deliveries.
• Take direction from the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or supervisor.
• Comply with pharmacy policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
