Requirements

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to read and understand patient, medication and pharmacy labels.
• Requires interpersonal skills to interact with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to obtain, verify and exchange information.
• Successful completion of the Hazardous Drug Handling competency.
• Ability to work rotating shift to include day, evening shift and every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the distribution and delivery of medications.
• Maintain medication inventory.
• Deliver medications and return medications to the pharmacy.
• Triage phone calls and messages related to medications.
• Return medications to stock.
