This position assists with the planning and implementation of operational and clinical initiatives. Direct involvement in continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, safety plan management and daily operations management is required.
40% Clinical and Operational Activities: Focus on the clinical workload and operational staffing for the day, including realignment of resources to meet daily workload, re-assignment of staff due to call-offs, oversight of clinical services program, and generating reports as requested by department leadership.
40% Clinical Quality and Regulatory Oversight: Oversee the quality and safety plan of the department, conduct general report analysis, facilitate root cause analysis meetings, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for pharmacy.
10% Committee Facilitation and Organizational Alignment: Extensive committee involvement, including chairing committees such as Medication Management, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, and Medication Safety.
10% Maintenance of Clinical & Operational Skill Sets: Continue to have direct patient care to maintain competence.
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
RPH - Registered Pharmacist - Board of Pharmacy Specialties
Pharmacy; Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio
Advanced degree or equivalent experience
