As a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist in Neuro Critical Care, you will provide advanced, decentralized pharmaceutical care within one of the nation’s highest-acuity critical care environments. Serving the Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU), you will manage the acute and ongoing medication needs of complex neurological patients through therapeutic drug monitoring, medication reconciliation, safety optimization and cost-effective pharmacotherapy planning. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with a large, team-oriented group of critical care pharmacists and interdisciplinary providers across the neurological ICU. In this role, you will also precept APPE students and PGY1/PGY2 residents, contribute to research and departmental projects, and represent pharmacy on key committees. This is an opportunity to join an inclusive, patient-focused team that is deeply committed to exceptional care and continuous learning. A caregiver in this role works a primary day shift of 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. The position includes a rotating every-8th-weekend requirement, with approximately four evening rotation weeks per year. Caregivers are also expected to work one holiday per year.
