About The Position
Pharmacy Clerk - Per Diem VytlOne is looking for a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Clerk to work in our VytlOne managed pharmacy at NCH Weeks Pharmacy, a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy located in Lancaster, NH. In this integrated model, the VytlOne pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. Estimated Salary Range: $18-$23/ hr depending on experience.
Requirements
- Retail or mail order pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Computer experience mandatory
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Vaccines are required
Nice To Haves
- Retail or mail order pharmacy experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and packaging prescriptions for processing; stocking and assembling shipping supplies
- Computer proficiency is required
- Must be responsible, organized, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to interpret computer software and visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
- Provide friendly and cooperative customer service
- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
