About The Position

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is looking for a compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Clerk to work in our Maxor managed pharmacy at Lamoille Health Pharmacy, a community healthcare center based retail pharmacy located in Stowe, VT. In this integrated model, the Maxor pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients.

Requirements

• Retail or mail order pharmacy experience is a plus
• Computer experience mandatory
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Preparing and packaging prescriptions for processing
• Stocking and assembling shipping supplies
• Providing friendly and cooperative customer service
• Greeting customers and taking prescription orders
• Conveying empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues
• Operating the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
• Assisting in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
• Answering the phone
• Inputting customer information into the computer system
