The Centralized Pharmacy Buyer is responsible for the collaborative, day-to-day management of pharmaceutical purchasing across the MemorialCare Health System. The Buyer supports the optimization of procurement workflows through the use of technology, ensuring that purchasing processes are streamlined and efficient. Additionally, the Buyer actively contributes to strategies aimed at mitigating systemwide medication shortages, working closely with internal teams to maintain consistent supply. The Centralized Pharmacy Buyer works in close partnership with the Manager, Pharmacy Purchasing and collaborates with other key stakeholders throughout the organization. The role is essential for maintaining cost-effective, compliant, and efficient purchasing operations, ultimately supporting the overall mission of MemorialCare’s pharmacy services.
