About The Position

As the Division Pharmacy Analyst, you will provide analytical support, preparing and evaluating operational and financial reports, and making recommendations to support division-level decision making and data management. You will be responsible for charge master price modeling, spend variance analysis, dashboard and benchmark development and maintenance, monitoring and reporting pharmacy spend and savings information, clinical and operational dashboard and forecasting. You will prepare presentations, executive summaries, and other documentation to outline savings opportunities for facility and division management teams. You will participate in facility or division level committees regarding product analysis. You will provide supervision and guidance to facility buyers to optimize purchasing practices. You will work with leadership to identify drug cost variances on a monthly basis and develop ongoing action plans. You will monitor trends in facility utilization, identify contracting opportunities through data mining, and prepare explanation of trends in supply chain performance and financial data.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field is preferred.
  • Masters or CPA is preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive analytical experience with financial data is required.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office, Pharmacy Information System, Business Objects and purchasing vendor applications is preferred.
