Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Financial operations and/or pharmacy operations experience in the healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with 340B Program requirements for qualified patients, drugs, and locations.
  • Manage drug selection, procurement, inventory control, and coordinate 340B program.
  • Maintain system databases to reflect changes in the drug formulary or product specifications.
  • Assure compliance with 340B program requirements of qualified patients, drugs and locations.
  • Review and refine monthly 340B cost savings report detailing purchasing and replacement practices, as well as dispensing patterns.
  • Monitor ordering processes, integrating the most current pricing from wholesaler.
  • Analyze invoices, shipping, and inventory processes.
  • Communicate with leadership within CFMC to include the impact of drug expenditures on new initiatives and changes to existing services.
  • Coordinate drug product contracting.
  • Monitor and analyze purchasing contracts and vendor program offerings to identify opportunities to reduce the cost of pharmaceuticals.
  • Monitor wholesaler and vendor compliance with contract terms through periodic testing.
  • Ensure that drugs and pharmacy related supplies are acquired at the best possible advantage by integrating formularies, driving market share, and coordinating initiatives to minimize drug costs.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate technology and information support systems to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of pharmaceutical care and billing processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
