About The Position

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to work in our Westside AHF Pharmacy in Beverly Hills. This position will follow a 4x10 hour schedule starting at 6 AM and ending at 5 PM, with rotating Saturdays. The Pharmacist will play a crucial role in contributing to AHF's mission by providing exceptional service to patients and clients, ensuring they receive the necessary information and support regarding their prescriptions and healthcare needs. The role requires a friendly demeanor, clinical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the pharmacy and the organization.

Requirements

• Current Pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• American Academy of HIV Physicians Certification for Pharmacist (AAHIVP) or ability to obtain within 18 months of employment.
• Data input skills and experience with pharmacy systems.
• Typing skills and familiarity with Windows PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide a friendly and helpful attitude to patients, clients, and customers seeking services.
• Handle incoming calls and greet patients in the pharmacy.
• Assist patients with prescription transfers and address grievances or complaints.
• Utilize clinical skills and knowledge to enhance patient care and quality of life.
• Adapt to various situations and provide support to pharmacy team members.
• Offer feedback to management on service improvements.
