UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital an inpatient rehabilitation hospital programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Offering customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The Pharmacist provides safe, timely, and effective pharmaceutical care within our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital. This role is responsible for verifying and dispensing medications, overseeing medication-use processes, reviewing patient drug therapy for appropriateness and safety, including anticoagulant monitoring, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation. The Pharmacist supervises pharmacy technicians, collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary care team, and contributes to ongoing quality, performance improvement, and medication‑safety initiatives to support optimal patient outcomes. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy; BS Pharm or PharmD required accredited clinical residency preferred.
  • Current state license to practice pharmacy.
  • Two (2) years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • verifying and dispensing medications
